Lucid is now a Microsoft Certified Partner. Building on our technical know-how, we have completed the Microsoft Partner Programme, which recognises excellence and expertise in software development.

The partnership is competency-based and applicants must meet two requirements.

Firstly, two Microsoft qualified developers must work at the company. Lucid’s Neil Turner and David Laing are Microsoft Certified Application (MCAD) and Microsoft Certified Solution (MCSD) qualified developers respectively, having completed eight exams in 2005.

Next, three customer testimonials are needed in reference to products created for them using the relevant technologies. We received support from clients such as RSSB and ARC Resource Solutions for websites built using ASP.NET and SQL Server.

Becoming a Microsoft Certified Partner allows us to develop a closer working relationship with Microsoft and strengthen our footing in the technical community.

We gain access to online resources and tutorials, and get to trial the latest technologies before adapting them to clients’ needs. We also have direct access to Microsoft product engineers for technical troubleshooting. This in turn helps our clients to get the most out of the services we provide.
