The 21st Century Professional Driver, an interactive training DVD produced by Lucid for the Rail Safety and Standards Board, was shortlisted for the 2007 Safety & Health Practitioner Awards, in the Best H&S achievement in the transport and logistics category.

Other companies shortlisted for an award in the same category were Wincanton, Home Retail Group and Cross Country Trains. The winners were announced at an awards gala at the Hilton, Park Lane, London, on the 2nd October 2007.

Wincanton, a European supply chain solutions provider, was the winner for a campaign that targeted two-thirds of its workers in distribution centres.

The SHP Awards were launched this year, and promote achievement in innovation, excellence and best practice within health and safety.
