The Assessment Version of the PTS DVD has proved so popular since its launch in September 2007 that a second print run has already been requested.

Lucid was commissioned last year by the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) to develop the PTS DVD, which provides full training and assessment materials for a two day personal track safety course for operational staff.

The initial 250 copies of the interactive training DVD were snatched up by TOCs, FOCs and IMCs, who applied for the DVD through its supporting website http://www.ptscourse.co.uk.

The DVD combines video, graphics, voiceover and exercises, and is only available to individuals delivering PTS training in their organisations. A General Version of the DVD is also now available to individuals who either interface with the railway or have a general interest in personal track safety.
