The ‘Trackoff’ website was launched on schedule last month.
Lucid were commissioned by the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) to redevelop the website earlier this summer, as part of a two year contract for the review and ongoing development of the Community Safety Communications campaign.
The campaign aims to raise public awareness, especially among young people, about the dangers and consequences of railway crime.
Using the ‘Trackoff’ brand, the website is at the core of the campaign, and is aimed at teachers. The website provides information and resources which can be downloaded for free, and used to help deliver railway safety education.
Since the site re-launched users have started registering to be notified when new resources become available. Part of Lucid’s remit is to develop new materials as required. These will be available on the website soon.
