Lucid have been commissioned to develop an online induction for visitors and contractors entering the Willesden Depot.

Willesden has six parallel shed roads, several sidings, and a fueling point. The 25KV overhead cables, heavy machinery and bi-directional train tracks are all potentially dangerous for visitors.

Lucid will develop the safety induction using the SiteSentinel platform. SiteSentinel provides an online briefing, test, and administration interface. The system maintains an audit trail of site inductions for staff, visitors, and contractors.

UKRIA Finalist

UKRIA02Lucid has been shortlisted in two categories for the UK Rail Industry Awards.

We have been shortlisted for both Product Innovation and Micro Subcontractor of the Year for our work in depot safety induction with the SiteSentinel product.

The awards are supported by the Office of Rail Regulation, British Standards Institute, Rail Safety Standards Board, Network Rail, and several other major rail industry organisations. The award ceremony takes place on 11th February 2016 at Battersea Evolution.

SSSystagenixLucid have been commissioned to develop an online safety induction for visitors and contractors entering Systagenix’ Gargrave facility

The Gargrave facility provides research, manufacturing, and distribution facilities for the company’s wound management products. The site is complex and dangerous. Its facilities include a Controlled Manufacturing Environment, Bonded Distribution Centre, and Steriliser.

Lucid will develop the safety briefing and associated test using the SiteSentinel briefing platform. Data will be stored in SiteSentinel to provide reporting and audit trial.

SiteSentinel for Crewe

SSCreweLucid have been commissioned to develop an online safety briefing, for visitors and contractors entering the Bombardier Crewe depot.

Crewe depot is a not a traditional maintenance depot, it is a refurbishment depot. The depot carries out work on bogies and axle placement. The cranes used for moving heavy components and hot work areas reaching 250c are potentially dangerous for visitors. Therefore, before visiting the site, all contractors and visitors are required to undergo a briefing to ensure their safety.

Lucid will develop the safety briefing and associated test using the SiteSentinel briefing platform. Reports will be stored in the SiteSentinel database for reporting and audit trail purposes. The new safety briefing will be concise and easy to understand.
