Southeastern have recently launched SiteSentinel for their Ramsgate Train Maintenance Depot.
The Ramsgate depot is a complex space with three ‘sheds’ and a large number of third-rail powered ‘roads.’
Visitors, contractors and employees must complete the SiteSentinel induction. The system ensures that everyone has a good understanding of the depot and the standards of behaviour required to maintain a safe working environment. It also captures information about the individual and their requirements (PTS, COSHH, electrical isolation etc.) prior to their arrival on site.
The SiteSentinel induction platform provides an online briefing, test, and administration interface. The system is designed to consistently deliver relevant, high quality information using text, photos, video and illustrations. SiteSentinel maintains an audit trail of all site inductions.
