Southeastern Expand their SiteSentinel Portfolio

Lucid has been commissioned to develop an online induction for Ashford TMD. The induction will be developed using our SiteSentinel induction platform. It will create Induction Pathways for Contractors, Staff, and Visitors.

Ashford provides a range of train maintenance facilities including stabling, train wash, CET, bogie drop and wheel lathe. Southeastern runs one of the busiest train networks in the country. They operate train services into London from Kent and East Sussex:

  • Over 1,600 trains a day
  • More than 400,000 passengers
  • Serving 180 stations and covering 540 miles of track
  • With 392 trains
  • Over 4,000 employees

Network Rail adopts SiteSentinel for Leeds Station

Leeds Station provides a gateway to the city and destinations across Yorkshire. The station is the terminus for the Leeds branch of the East Coast Main Line and is an important stop on the Cross Country Route between Scotland, the Midlands and Southwest England. There are also regular services to major destinations throughout Northern England. The station also lies at the heart of the Metro network for West Yorkshire.

Network Rail is the owner and infrastructure manager of most of the railway network in Great Britain. They directly manage twenty-five of the UK’s largest railway stations.

More SiteSentinel for ARL

Another site! Arriva Rail London have expanded their use of SiteSentinel. The latest location, Wembley Sidings, is located close to the iconic Wembley Stadium. The sidings provide train servicing facilities for ARL’s rolling stock.

Arriva Rail London, part of the Arriva Group, operate the London Overground network in partnership with Transport for London. The network delivers 190 million passenger journeys per year using 106 trains on seven routes.

We are delighted to be exhibiting at Railtex this September 2021 at the NEC Birmingham on Stand K80 in Hall 12; and after the year we’ve all had we’re looking forward to engaging in some good old fashioned face-to-face discussion!

This year’s event will be the 15th edition of Railtex and it has joined forces with key rail sector conference, Infrarail, meaning the show will service both the infrastructure and rolling stock sides of the sector, therefore creating the ultimate show for the rail industry.

We’ve beaten our personal best – with an unprecedented number of Site Sentinel online worksite safety inductions in one month!

We’re thrilled to announce we’ve smashed our own monthly inductions record – delivering 2,145 online worksite inductions to rail personnel in the month of May 2021 – our highest ever monthly figure.  Pre-COVID we delivered an average of 2,000 inductions per month in 2019 – indicating the rail industry is firmly back on track!
