Lucid have been commissioned to develop an online safety briefing for visitors and contractors entering the Bombardier Ilford Heavy Maintenance depot.
Ilford depot consists of two large maintenance workshops with offices above, a dedicated spray shop and ground wheel lathe. The 25KV overhead cables, heavy machinery and bi-directional train tracks are all potentially dangerous for visitors. Before visiting the site, all contractors and visitors are required to undergo a briefing to ensure their safety.
Lucid will develop the safety briefing and associated test using the SiteSentinel briefing platform. Reports will be stored in the SiteSentinel database for reporting and audit trial purposes. The new safety briefing will be concise and easy to understand.
